OBJECTIVES OF THE SPECIALIST GROUP
Balance sheets and developments
This specialist group is the competence center for questions relating to national and international accounting with a focus on the valuation of the liabilities side of the balance sheet and its interaction with the valuation of the assets side of the balance sheet.
It monitors developments in national and international accounting as well as developments in supervisory law with possible effects on the valuation of liabilities in the statutory balance sheet and their interaction with the valuation of the assets side of the balance sheet. It issues statements and recommendations on relevant topics and may also issue guidelines.
