Antitrust / Competition Law Policy Disclaimer

The SAA is fully committed to the principles of free and fair competition and undertakes to comply with all applicable competition law provisions (in particular antitrust law). None of the Association’s activities, nor the actions of its members, may be aimed at, or give the impression of, restricting or distorting competition. In particular, agreements or concerted practices between members relating to prices, terms and conditions, market sharing, customers, production volumes or other competition-sensitive parameters are strictly prohibited.

During meetings, working groups and other association activities, care must be taken to ensure that no competition-sensitive information is exchanged or discussed. All members and stakeholders shall act autonomously and independently in their business decisions. Any uncertainties must be clarified immediately with the management or a legal contact person.

Compliance with these principles serves to protect the association and its members from legal risks and helps to ensure effective competition.
