Interpreting data correctly
Data science, data analytics, smart analytics and big data are currently gaining in importance for actuaries. A transformation is taking place that has already greatly changed their work and will continue to be a catalyst for change. The Data Science specialist group promotes and supports these developments and acts as a competence center for the field of data science within the Swiss Actuarial Association.

Promote and bundle competencies

Contribute to the continuing education of actuaries in the field of data science

Clarifying the training and continuing education needs of actuaries in the field of data science

Supporting the Board of the SAV in connection with data science

Exchange with other actuarial associations and with data science groups outside the SAV.
